ultimate law and order: svu drinking game

Definitely doing this on Sunday!

Take a drink if/when:

  • The victim is found by joggers, garbage collectors, or a couple fighting.

  • Someone from SVU asks someone from Homicide “Why’d you call us?”

  • Warner points out the victim has ligature marks or petechial hemorrhaging, or says the COD was a subdural hematoma.

  • The victim was a student at Hudson University.

  • They interview a sex offender on parole working at a fish market or shipyard.

  • Anyone from SVU goes undercover.

  • A dead girl’s father gets offended when he’s asked for a DNA sample.

  • A teenager uses archaic slang when talking about sex.

  • Stabler grumbles “He lawyered up.”

  • A defense attorney says “We’re done here.”

  • The defense attorney is Trevor Langan.

  • Someone tells the detectives to “go do your job.”

  • Fin says he’s going to beat the perp’s ass.

  • Stabler slams a suspect into the window grate.

  • Someone asks Stabler if he has kids.

  • Benson mentions she’s a child of rape.

  • Post-“Undercover”: Benson mentions she was sexually assaulted.

  • Anyone from SVU fails to understand the concept of bisexuality.

  • Cragen threatens to pull someone from the case.

  • Finish the bottle if he actually follows through.

  • Someone interrupts an interrogation with a shocking discovery.

  • The FBI shows up to claim jurisdictional authority.

  • Cabot or Novak says “I can’t get a warrant for a fishing expedition.”

  • Cabot says the word “jurisprudence.”

  • IAB gets involved. (Two drinks if Stabler calls them the “rat squad.”)

  • The real perp turns out to be the first person they interviewed.

  • You recognize a guest star from playing a totally different character on an earlier season.

  • You recognize a guest star because they’re way more famous now than they were when they shot that episode.

  • The Special Guest Star is Shirley Knight or Hayden Panettiere.

  • Anyone from Modern Family shows up.

  • A famous comedian plays a psychopath.

  • A Broadway actress plays a prostitute.

  • Kathy or Maureen Stabler makes an appearance. (Double drink if it’s Kathleen, Elizabeth, or Dickie Richard.)
